Day 24

A People of Remembrance

from the reading plan

John 6:47-58, Matthew 26:26-29, Exodus 12:1-3, Exodus 12:7-13, Exodus 12:21-28, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17, 1 Corinthians 11:17-29, Psalm 34:8

Since 2015, He Reads Truth has maintained a singular mission: to be men in the Word of God every day. Seven years later, our community includes “Hes” from across the globe, but our mission hasn’t changed.

Reading Scripture together is the centerpiece of what we do at He Reads Truth. As we spend time as a community reading This Is The Church, we encourage you to start by reading the daily Scripture on your  own. Then join us here to engage and encourage one another as we respond to what we’ve read. Each day for this series, we’ll include a brief summary of the reading along with a prompt for conversation.

The Lord’s Supper (also known as the Eucharist or Communion) was established by Jesus when He observed the Passover meal with His disciples. The Lord’s Supper proclaims the gospel to ourselves and to one another.

Discussion Question: What attributes of God do you notice in today’s reading?

Take time to reflect on your Scripture reading and today’s question. Share what you are learning with others in the community in the comments.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave….” That love for us is never ending. Thank God for His son Jesus and our ability to be forgiven our sins so we can be children of the living God! The attribute of love is one of our greatest gifts from God.

  2. Brandon J. says:

I see mercy, I see goodness and love in His invitation. Thank you Jesus!
