By He Reads Truth
Memorizing scripture is a way to carry God’s Word with you wherever you go, keeping God-breathed instruction, reproof, and truth in your heart and mind each day.
This week, we’re committing to memory this profound promise from Jesus to His disciples.
“I assure you: You will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice. You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.”
—John 16:20

I don’t know. I guess it teaches me that God wants to end sorrow. It’s not a permanent thing.

We experience a lot of grief and sorrow.

Part of the good news is that one day there won’t be any more sorrow.

Look forward to that day I guess.

Lord thank you that you are mighty to save and able to keep us safe. Be with those who are hurting today and bless your people with your presence.
