Day 13

Grace Day

from the reading plan

Luke 15:22-24

Take this day as an opportunity to catch up on your reading, pray, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

“But the father told his servants, ‘Quick! Bring out the best robe and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then bring the fattened calf and slaughter it, and let’s celebrate with a feast, because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.”

What an incredible picture of God’s grace…and then some. I love this story-it’s one of my favorite parables and it serves as a reminder that His grace is ALWAYS sufficient. Thank you Jesus today that once I was lost and now I’ve been found. Once I was blind and now I see. Once I was hopeless and now I’m full of hope. Praise God! Thank you for this incredible gift!
