Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry the good news of Jesus with us wherever we go.
For the last three weeks of this plan, we’ll memorize our second key verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17. This week, we’ll memorize the second part of 2 Corinthians 5:17, the joyful proclamation that God’s work to make all things new is present here and now.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!

If you are like me and you struggle to memorize scripture – look up the song about this verse by “The Corner Room.” It’s literally titled “2 Corinthians 5:17”. Great band with an Indelible Grace feel that has many songs that are singing through scripture. My wife started listening to them for music for the kids in the car, and I’ve found myself listening to them by myself as I drive to work in the mornings.
