By He Reads Truth
Memorizing scripture is a way to carry God’s Word with you wherever you go, keeping God-breathed instruction, reproof, and truth in your heart and mind each day.
This week, we are memorizing this reminder from the Apostle Paul that we can worship God in every situation—big and small, in joy and in sorrow.
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory.”
—1 Corinthians 10:31

I want to try and remember scripture more readily.

Lord, I repent of my language and bad behavior. For mocking those who are too young to understand my jabs. It’s cowardly. Lord, help me remember some intentionality today. Help me pursue you better. Help me remember 1 Corinthians 10:31. That wether I eat or drink. Whatever I do today, it’s all for your glory, not mine. Help me make the best decisions possible.
