Day 6

Grace Day

from the reading plan

Psalm 100:1-3

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to God!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Acknowledge that the LORD is God.
He made us, and we are his—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:1–3

  1. Graham says:

    Lord, it is through your grace that we may wake each day and breathe air meant for your lungs and see skies meant for your eyes.

    Who are we to determine in our minds you are so far away when you show us how near you are to our hearts each and every day?

    May we find the strength within to trust in You and to remember how Jesus found His strength within.

    For it is through the Spirit that we gain our confidence and might in Your glory.

    Be with us each moment, through the ups and downs, excess and scarcity, for it is You who we face in the end.

    Keep us ever mindful that thou art the Lord and that thy will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.
