Day 6

Grace Day

from the 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus reading plan

2 Peter 3:14-15

Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.

Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found without spot or blemish in his sight, at peace. Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him.
—2 Peter 3:14-15

It’s good to take time to remember all that we have been given by God. It’s too easy to forget these things in today’s world.

  2. Chase E. Baker says:

God, thank you for your grace. For your peace. That you know me. That you made me. Thank you for your word, for Jesus, that I have to ability to know you. Thank you for HOW you made me, WHO you made me to be. You are revealing more of who you made me to be through these pages. You’ve made me to be set apart, to be righteous, peaceful, faithful, content, tranquil and quiet, loving, kind. I pray these things would sink into my heart, who you made me to be. Show me what it looks like to be me, and to exercise your characteristics in my unique personality. I am so thankful for you, and for how deeply you know and love me. Amen
