Use today to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.
God in his holy dwelling is
a father of the fatherless
and a champion of widows.
God provides homes for those who are deserted.
He leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious live in a scorched land.
—Psalm 68:5-6

Father, I am so grateful that you love us so much. We have done nothing to deserve the grace and mercy that you show us, quite the opposite in fact. Regardless, you always bring the lost sheep back to your flock when they seek you. Praise be to you forever. Amen.

“God settles the solitary in a home”
I’m going o believe this promise for myself! Being in a season where I feel homeless and as though the fullness of my life hasn’t been realized where I am, I trust God to make good on his promise to settle me as a ‘solitary’ in a home! I also trust him to help me see that Home exactly as he’s designed it to be! Even if it looks different than my expectation, I trust him to help me see!

What a week of highs and lows. Actually what a past couple months of highs and lows. God showed his faithfulness yesterday and blew me away. Why do I doubt him? Why am I not patient with him? Time and time again he’s faithful. Oh I have such little faith yet he provides.
God is good. I pray that my faith would continue to grow and that doubt is just from Satan. I pray I continue to recognize that.
