By He Reads Truth
1 Chronicles 29:11
Use this day to pray, rest, and reflect on this week’s reading, giving thanks for the grace that is ours in Christ.
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all.

God is totally in control. Jesus Christ himself was sold on that fact. In his life, ministry, and even in his death, he relied and trusted in the sovereignty of his Father’s plan. The sermons, parables, miracles that I’ve read of this week, were wrought by Christ as he sweetly submitted to the will of the Father. His will can take you very low even death. But, just as death for the sins and a grave are part of Christ’s story…so is the victory of resurrection! That is the end for those who know the Savior. Or I should say, that is just the beginning!
