Day 7

Weekly Truth

from the Romans reading plan

Romans 3:23

Memorizing Scripture is a way to carry God’s Word with you wherever you go, keeping God-breathed instruction, reproof, and truth in your heart and mind each day.

As we read through Romans together, we will memorize the steps in the Romans Road to salvation, a concise explanation of the gospel using verses from this epistle. The first step acknowledges the problem: our own sin.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
—Romans 3:23

Write this passage down, keep it in your wallet, post it on your mirror or at your desk — anywhere you will see it often. Save the image below as a lock screen on your phone so you can read these words throughout the day.

I’m not perfect and I never will be God loves me. He gives me an opportunity everyday to strive to be better. Lord work in me and guide me to be a better example for my family, friends, and anyone that I may encounter in Jesus name, Amen.

Lord I know I’m not worthy of your love or many gifts that you continue to bless with me. Let me remember that I should be humble and stay seated at your feet night and day, praising you for your mercy and grace. I’ve fallen short. May I show that same grace and mercy to others. ❤️

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be empowered through studying the word of God.
