By He Reads Truth
Memorizing Scripture is a way to carry God’s Word with you wherever you go, keeping God-breathed instruction, reproof, and truth in your heart and mind each day.
This week, commit to memory Ruth’s declaration of fidelity to her family and to God.
Wherever you go, I will go,
and wherever you live, I will live;
your people will be my people,
and your God will be my God.
-Ruth 1:16

Since I am praying for my wife through this study, I will pray that God will guide her and she chooses the more difficult path which is to follow Christ in every aspect of life.

It is revolutionary to choose to tie our entire life to one person and one God.

Jesus calls us to do the same thing as Ruth. He calls us to tie every aspect of our lives to follow Him and choose the more difficult path.

God delights when we choose to follow Him in every aspect of our lives.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit will guide Liz and she chooses to follow Jesus in every way. Wherever He asks her to go, wherever He asks her to live, whoever who puts in her life, and doing this all by dedicating herself to God.
