Rest Day

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Take this day to catch up, pray, and sit in God’s presence. Pray the scripture below for someone in your life and for yourself.

Rejoice always!
Pray constantly.
Give thanks in everything,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

    Knowing God is more than enough cause for us to be thankful. Just think and ask where would we be without Him?

    Motivates me to share the Gospel with as many as I can so that the “Lamb that was slain will receive the gifts of His suffering.”

    Life-changing thought that Jesus prayed for us in John 17:20. We should be grateful that we were included in His High Priestly prayer and that we were given the Gospel in due time before it is too late.

    That God gave us a sabbath day to rest and reflect on the week we’ve had. He gives us this day to rest and rejoice on what he has done

    That the gospel gives us direction on as simple things as resting. It may sound basic but this is s key feature to a Christian’s life and function

    That man needs a rest in his busy schedule and if we do not rest, man won’t stop and reflect on what he has done. And it’s also important to worship God
